Somebody’s being kind to strangers

Somebody’s trying to feed the poor

Somebody’s trying to love their neighbor

One thing that I know for sure.

There’s something fishy going on.

 

What in the world do they think they’re doing?

Cant understand what they’re trying to prove

They should just mind their own business

Some people just born to lose.

Are they too blind to see, things happen for a reason?

They should just let it be, and let nature take its course?

Trying to change the world is like trying to change the season.

Things are just the way things are and that’s how it’s meant to be.

 

I never saw any point in trying

I think I never really saw the need

To lift the spirits of the weak and dying

I think I suffered from emotional greed.

But there’s something fishy going on.

 

I took a look into the eyes of stranger.

I saw her soul staring back at me.

I felt the pain that she had inside her.

I don’t know what’s coming over me but.

I’m feeling kindness like its automatic.

My ship is sailing on a different course

I’m feeling very ichthusiastic.

I’m feeling power from a heavenly source.

Was I too blind to see the reasons that I’m here for.

I can’t just let it be, and let nature take its course.

If I can’t change the world, then I can change the way I see it.
